Aparna Balamurali Biography

Aparna Balamurali is a budding actress who shot to fame 2016 Malayalam super hit - ‘Maheshinte Prathikaram’, where she shared screen space with Fahadh Faazil. She played the parallel lead in this comedy film and Anusree also played a pivot role in the movie. Both the ladies played Fahadh’s love interest at two different phases of the story. She enters the movie in the second half. Aparna made her film debut with 2015 hit film - ‘Oru Second Class Yathra’, where she played Vineeth Sreenivasan’s love interest. ‘Maheshinte Prathikaram’ is her second film. She has earlier done one movie as a child artist - Yathra Thudarunnu.

Aparna Balamurali hails from Thrissur. She is born into a musical family. Her father Balamurali is a musician and her mother, an advocate and a singer. Yet Aparna joined the field of acting. She currently pursues her graduation in Architecture at Global Institute, Palakkad. She made her film debut with ‘Oru Second Class Yathra’, where she plays the role of a rank holder school student. Though she appears only in a flashback scene, her presence was noted. The movie was directed by Jexson Antony and Rejis Antony. Very soon she bagged her second film - ‘Maheshinte Prathikaram’.

During promos, though Anusree was highlighted as the first lead lady of the movie, her character had negative shades. She played the role of Fahadh Faasil’s first love, who dumps him for a rich man. Anusree is definitely the surprise pack of the movie, and she was not highlighted in promos as well. In the second half she took over Anusree as the main lead. In a song sequence, her dancing skills too were well captured.
