Avneet Kaur Biography
Avneet Kaur is a popular child artist on Indian television and a dancer. She belongs to Punjab. She started her career as a dancer and appeared in the reality dance show - Dance India Dance Li'l Masters at the age of 11, followed by Dance Ke Superstars and also Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa – 5th season. Kaur made her acting debut through the series - Meri Maa as Jhilmil. One of the top female child artists since 2010s, she played female lead of two series - 2012 Savitri as young Rajkumari Damyanti, and the 2013 Ek Mutthi Aasmaan as young Pooki Kapoor. She made her film debut through Rani Mukherji starrer Mardani in 2014, where she played the role of young Meera. Hamari Sister Didi and Tedhe Hain Par Tere Mere Hain are her other popular roles on miniscreen.
Kaur was born in Jalandhar in 2001. She is studying 8th standard in Jalandhar School. Zee TV's kids dance reality series Dance India Dance Li'l Masters marked her first small screen appearance. She was able to reach the top three finalists, though not able to win. Later she was a team member of "Dance Challengers" for the dance reality show - Dance Ke Superstars. Both these shows gave her enough exposure to the public and she gained popularity among TV audience.
Very soon she made her acting debut as a child artist through Sri Adhikari Brothers’ Tedhe Hain Par Tere Mere Hain aired on SAB TV. Since then she became a regular actress on small screen delivering many awesome performances. In 2014 thriller – Mardaani she played Rani Mukerji's niece Meera who stays with her. Meera is the close friend of Pyaari, who is being kidnapped and the whole movie revolves around this incident.
