Jack Gaud Biography

Jack Gaud was a film actor associated with Bollywood best known for playing negative roles in Bollywood movies of 1980s and 1990s. Unfortunately he was type casted as a henchman in action films or sidekick to villains, and most of those roles were less significance. He couldn’t mark his position in Bollywood, and got struck in type-cast roles of sidekick and henchman. He didn’t taste high success in film field and his acting talents were not explored in a better way by film directors too. Though he rarely speaks long dialogues on screen, his face is familiar to audience who watch movies of 1980s and 1990s. As a film actor, Tezaab, Vastav, Karan Arjun etc are some of the roles not easy to forget.

 

Jack hailed from Khetri, Jhunjhunu District in the state of Rajasthan. He was born in the year 1958. He worked in Indian Navy before his passion to cinema brought him to entertainment world. Insaaf Kaun Karega in 1984 marked his film debut. Since 1980s he played bit roles on screen and was mostly associated with action masala entertainers. Most of those roles even didn’t offer any dialogue or bigger screen space. Yet Jack stayed in the industry.

 

In the 1990s too he continued with similar kind of roles, yet he was busy in Bollywood, and appeared in a series of action films. He also played gangster, boxer, villain etc roles on big screen. He had a massive heart attack at the age of 42 in 2000. He passed away on 8 June 2000 at a comparatively young age.   Shamsher Singh from the film Karan Arjun and Fracture Bandya from the film Vaastav remain his most memorable roles up-to-date. Koyla, Bade Miya Chota Miya, Saajan Chale Sasural, Judwaa etc are a few more. He appeared in around 70 movies.
