Kaushal Inamdar Biography 
Kaushal Inamdar is a music director and singer of Marathi and Hindi movies. He composes music for television shows, stage concerts and dramas as well. His compositions include music for ballets, advertisements, and albums as well. He has done the Music work for the Official CD ROM of Miss World 1996 held at Bangalore. Krishna Kathchi Meera, Not Only Mrs. Raut, Aag, Balgandharva, Hungama and Adhantari are the Marathi movies for which he composed music. He has also composed music for the Bollywood movie, Its Breaking News released in 2007.
Born in Pune on 2 October 1971, his schooling was done at IES Modern English School, Dadar and Billimoria High School, Panchgani. He completed graduation from the D. G. Ruparel College, Mumbai. It was during this time when he met Chetan Datar who initiated him into theatre. During school days, he has already begun training in Hindustani vocals from Kamalakar Bhagwat, a composer. He learnt music in a serious way only after the completion of his degree course. He did writing apprentice under Lekh Tandon and worked as a writer of daily soaps for a short period. But he rediscovered himself to be a good musician than a story writer and he decided to pursue a career in music. His chosen path was right too! He became a disciple of Pandit Satyasheel Deshpande.
Kausal has worked with almost all leading singers of the industry including Shankar Mahadevan, Sadhana Sargam, Mahalaxmi Iyer, Suresh Wadkar and Shreya Ghoshal. His private albums include - Shubhra Kalya Moothbhar, Man Pakharache Hoi, Ratra Bhizali, Kamana Purti, Geetecha to saakshi vadala and Bhavanjali (a devotional album). Kaushal is married to Suchitra Inamdar, a school counsellor in Tridha and the couple has one son.
