Keith Sequeira Biography

Keith Sequeira is a former model, RJ and VJ. He is also a film and television actor who recently played lead role in the acclaimed movie – Sixteen (2013). Sixteen was his debut movie – a movie that entirely belonged to teenagers. He played the role of a middle aged writer in this movie and was paired with the lead actress Wamiqa Gabbi. Diya Aur Baati is his most popular television serial role. His family hails from Goa though he was brought up in Delhi. He has been a very successful VJ of B4U, hosting many shows.

Kieth’s family originally belongs to Goa. His father’s original place is Aldona and he left the place while a teenager. He moved to Mumbai and later to Delhi, the place where Keith was born. For the same reason he is not fluent in Konkani, his mother tongue. He completed his schooling from at St. Columbus School in Delhi and took a Bachelor’s degree in Economics. Now he travels to Goa twice a year. He started off as a model and his favourite campaign is for Raymond. He was the last person to be chosen for the campaign.

His ability to communicate better and fluency in speaking made him a successful VJ of B4U. His entry to the field was just co-incidence. He was on a trip to Mumbai while his friend told him about the auditions. He got selected for B4U. He was sitting at a restaurant when the casting director approached him with the pivot role of ‘Sixteen’. He was impressed by the film’s script and gladly accepted the project immediately. His strong role of the writer who reaches Delhi to write his book is really appreciable. It was a great role for subtle strong performance.
