Lakshmi Ramakrishnan Biography
Lakshmi Ramakrishnan is an Indian film actress and director and she primarily focuses on films of Tamil and Malayalam language.
She lived in Gulf region from 1985 to 2005 and there she used to conduct various programs for women and children. She came back to India and directed many short films. The house of Lakshmi was needed to shoot the Malayalam film Chakkara Muthu in 2006 and so the director A.K. Lohithadas offered her a supporting role in that film which marked her film debut.
Her debut movie in Tamil language was Pirivom Santhippom by Karu Pazhaniappan. It was released in 2008 and in this film she played the role of the mother of actress Sneha. After that she got chances to perform in many supporting roles. She tonsured her head for her role in the film Yuddham Sei by Mysskin.
She directed and produced her first feature film Arakonam in 2012. She is also acting in the television series Aval telecasted in STAR Vijay. Some of her films include Poi Solla Porom, Thiru Thiru Thiru Thiru, Eeram, Naadodigal, Vettaikaran, Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa, Ye Maaya Chesave, Aanmai Thavarael, Raavanan, Naan Mahaan Alla, Boss Enkira Baskaran, Yuddham Sei, Singam Puli, Ponnar Shankar, Rowthiram, Oh My Friend, Uchithanai Muharnthaal, etc.
