Sambhabana Mohanty Biography

Sambhabana Mohanty is a leading film actress associated with Odia film industry. She is the daughter of noted Odia actress Snigdha Mohanty and Jaya Prakash Mohanty. Her first released movie was “Mun Raja Tu Rani” released during Durga Puja 2013. A trained classical dancer, dancing, acting and modeling are her prime interests. She started her career with modelling and then moved to film acting.

Sambhabana Mohanty was born into a family with filmy background. Her mother Snigdha Mohanty is a popular Odia actress, best known for her appearance in Singha Bahini (1998), Love Dot Com (2009) and Nandini I Love U (2008). Sambhabana Mohanty is a trained classical dancer. She is also interested in acting and modeling, since childhood. She completed graduation at Ravenshaw University, and now she has moved to Hyderabad to pursue her higher studies. She is currently attending classes at Ravenshaw University.

She started her carrier in the Odia film “Mun Raja Tu Rani” opposite of Arindam Roy. The movie was released in 2013, and since then she has portrayed numerous roles on big screen. Her enchanting smile and simple performance made her one of the promising young actress of present day Ollywood. She takes inspiration from her mother Snigdha Mohanty, who remained a successful actress in the film industry.

Sambhabana Mohanty gives a lot of importance of fitness. Even while attending her college classes, she is sweating at gym. Her weekly routine is chock-a-block with activities, except on Sundays. She enjoys her Sundays with her family, and often goes for a shopping with her mother. Otherwise they visit their favourite restaurant in the evening. She  generally spend time with her friends on holidays, and used to hang out.
