Back To School - A Few Tips To Remember

 

Now it’s hot summer and very soon we will invite cool monsoon. Along with it, schools also re-open after a short break. So, I know well, parents are preparing a lot for their children, buying books, uniform, umbrellas and school bags. So, through this article let me give a few tips for parents.

First lessons of neat and tidiness

Parents pack lunch boxes in cotton cloth for their kids. But do you every time ensure that those wrapping clothes are neat and tidy? Yes, often with carelessness, while packing good lunch in Tiffin box, they forget to ensure whether the wrapping cloth is washed or not. It normally happens when mother is a bit in hasty while preparing lunch and breakfast before the school bus reaches at 7.30am.

Neat and ironed clothes bring positives

How will it look like if the school uniforms are not properly washed or ironed and kids need to wear them to school? In addition to providing good food and enough books for kids, it’s the duty of parents to send their kids to school with enough tidiness. If clothes are well washed, ironed and kids dress them taking enough time, it makes a whole day positive for him. Otherwise even his dearest friend will keep distance from him. If your kid has shoes and socks as a part of uniform, ensure that they are properly washed and dried under sunlight. Otherwise it results in bad smell; brings diseases also.

Bathrooms of school

Non-hygienic bathrooms at schools prompt kids not to drink too much water. They may even try to control urination process, to avoid going to bathrooms. Both are really harmful to health. It results in many diseases including urinary infections. So, it’s the duty of parents to ensure if school authorities have made such primary facilities. For elder girls, facilities should be there to throw sanitary napkins and secure bathrooms are most essential.

Never quit breakfast

Parents often complain that as their kids leave home before 7 am or 7.30, they never take breakfast. Breakfast is the most essential meal a day that keeps the energy level of your kid high whole day throughout. Include carbohydrates and proteins in his food.

When school begins parents often prompt kids to stay in front of books always. It’s a wrong procedure. Allow them to play a little while in the evening and make him sleep only after one hour after supper.
