Anaita Shroff Adajania Biography
Anaita Shroff Adajania is a leading fashion stylist and costume designer, who currently serves as the Fashion Director for Vogue India magazine. She is married to filmmaker Homi Adajania since 2002. Homi has directed a few critically acclaimed and commercially successful Bollywood films like Finding Fanny & Cocktail and also Being Cyrus. The couple has two children, Zreh and Zane. Anaita has also done design work for all her husband’s films, apart from Dhoom 2, Everybody Says I'm Fine! and Love Aaj Kal, also got associated with Dhoom series as a fashion stylist for its lead stars.
Anaita Shroff Adajania was born in 1972. She turned a professional in the year 1995, and since then has spent more than two decades in the industry. She started her career as assistant fashion editor with Elle magazine, when its Indian edition was launched in the year 1996. She later worked with L'Officiel India, before joining becoming Vogue India. She currently serves as the fashion director of this Indian edition of magazine. In 1995, she appeared in a cameo role in Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, just before she turned a fashion stylist and costume designer. Now she is a leading name in Indian fashion industry.
Her designs have been featured in all leading fashion magazines of India such as Vogue, L'Officiel, Elle and Rolling Stone. She styled John Abraham and Esha Deol for Dhoom, followed by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan and Bipasha Basu for Dhoom 2 and Katrina Kaif for Dhoom 3. Currently she serves as the fashion stylist of Bollywood’s top actress Deepika Padukone for all her live events.
