Ankita Bhargava Biography

Ankita Bhargava, now known as Ankita Karan Patel is a television actress associated with Hindi television. She is married to Karen Patel - the hot favorite of small screen, since May 2015. It was a perfect arranged marriage and quite co-incidence, her father, Abhay Bhargava plays Karan’s onscreen father-in-law in his most popular soap - Ye Hai Mohabbatein. Ankita is a part of several popular soaps on television and she plays character and supporting roles most. Post marriage, she returned to television shows through Reporters, where she played the role of Shreya Bhagat. In 2014 she was seen in Ajay Devgan starrer Action Jackson, playing the small role of Khushi's Friend.

Ankita’s parents Abhay Bhargava and Kiran Bhargava are well-known actors in the industry. She is associated with television since early 2000s. Some of her noted shows include – K Street Pali Hill,Mrs. Tendulkar, Kesar, Dill Mill Gayye, Sajda Tere Pyaar Mein, Ekk Nayi Pehchaan, Don, Kasautii Zindagi Kay, Karam Apna Apna, Yeh Pyar Na Hoga Kam, Sati and Jeevan Saathi.

She is married to Karen Patel since May 2015. Karen was previously in a relationship with his costar Kamya Punjabi. After the breakup, when Karen decided to settle with family life, Ankita entered his life. Though rumours of troubled marriage have surfaced most recently and his ex-girlfriend Kamya Punjabi was allegedly blamed, the couple had denied all such rumours.

Quite different from other love stories of small screen stars, Karan and Ankita had an arranged marriage. They were introduced to each other by a common friend, and Karan’s co-star Aly Goni at a party hosted by Abhay Bhargava. Ankita Bhargava is the daughter of Abhay Bhargava, and within a short period of time, Ankita and Karan decided to tie the knot. Quite interestingly, Abhay Bhargava played Karan’s onscreen father-in-law in his most popular soap - Ye Hai Mohabbatein, this co-incidence created great headlines in 2015. Though Ankita was also blamed to be the reason behind the breakup of Karen and Kamya, she denied all those rumours.
