Archana Kavi Biography
Archana Kavi is an Indian film actress. She was born on 4th January 1990 in New Delhi in Syrian Christian family. Her parents are Rosamma and Jose Kaviyil. She entered into Malayalam film industry by her debut film Neelathaamara in the character of Kunjimalu in the year 2009. This was a highly successful film and gave her good opening. She acted as a village girl in this film with mundu and blouse.
She studied at St. Xavier School and entered film industry at her age of 19. She has one brother. She was praised for her acting in the film Mummy & Me. Her film Best of Luck directed by Nishad M A was a box office failure. She is also performing as a television presenter. Her first film Neelathaamara was directed by Lal Jose and was scripted by M. T. Vasudevan Nair.
She has acted in few Malayalam and Tamil films that include Neelathaamara, Mummy & Me, Best of Luck, Mahavillinattam are, Aravaan, Horizon, etc. in the film Mummy & Me, she acted as the daughter of Mukesh and Urvashi and paired with Kunchacko Boban.
Her film Neelathaamara won her Asianet Award for Best Female New Face of the Year, Jai Hind Award for Best Female New Face of the Year, Surya Award for Best Female New Face of the Year, Film Critics Award for Female New Face of the Year and her film Mummy & Me won Asianet Award for Best Star Pair 2011, Vanitha Film Awards for Best Star Pair 2011, Kairali Awards for The Most Popular Actress 2011 and Filmfare Award for Best Actress in Malayalam 2011.
