Devaki Pandit Biography 
Devaki Pandit is an Indian classical singer who works as playback singer for movies also. She has won Maharashtra Government Award for "Best Female Playback Singer" twice. She won it for the movies – Ardhangi in 1986 and in 2002. She is the only person to receive Kesarbai Kerkar Scholarship twice consecutively. Mewati Gharana Award in 2002, Aditya Birla Kala Kiran Award in 2006 and Alpha Gaurav Puraskar (2001-2002) are other honours received by Devaki. She has judged Sa Re Ga Ma Pa on Zee Marathi as a good judge. 'Chal chaal chaal tu bala' and 'Ya Jagnyacha’ of Spandan are her recent songs. She has also released one ghazal album titled – Suno Zara.
Devaki Pandit was born in Maharashtra in a musical family. She was introduced to the world of music at the age of 2. She received initial music training from her mother Usha Pandit. Later she received training from Vasantrao Kulkarni for 10 years, Jitendra Abhisheki for 12 years and Kishori Amonkar for 4 years. Since 2003, she is training under Babanrao Haldankar. Her first stage performance was at the age of 9 and first recording at the age of 12. It was a balgeet. In the year 1986, she debut playback singing with the movie, Ardhangi. She won state awards for best playback singer for her debut movie itself. Devaki is now a very successful playback singer of Marathi cinema and her songs for television serials too, are equally famous.
A few of her devotional albums are Vrindavan, The Power Of Gayatri, Shri Krishna Hari, Sampoorna Shiv Aradhana, Krishna Raas Geet, Shree Durga Stuti, Aradhana Mahakali, Shreeramraksha Stotram, Himalayan Chants – Part 1 and 2, Divine Chants of Gayatri and Mantras for Peace & Prosperity. Sadabahar Geete, Saangu Kunaas Hee Preet, Shabda Swaranchy Chandnyat, Saare Tuzhyaat Aahe and Man Muthitun Gharangalatana are her Marathi albums.
