Karan Tacker is a successful model, TV host and popular actor associated with Hindi television entertainment industry. This actor is best known for his role as Viren Vadhera in Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai. The show was aired on Star plus. He was a contestant of celebrity dance reality show, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa in 2014, though couldn’t win it. In 2008 he appeared in a brief role in Shah Rukh starrer Bollywood film, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, and 10 years later, he is to appear in his second Bollywood film, Student of the Year 2. Karan is to play a supporting role in this film, produced by Karan Johar.

Karan was born on 11 May 1986. He was born and brought up in Mumbai. He has one elder sister. He completed his BBA degree before he pursued modelling and acting professions. In 2008 he received a brief role in Bollywood film, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. Yet his Bollywood journey never took off. Instead he landed into the world of television, where he received fame and popularity. He marked his television debut with Love Ne Mila Di Jodi in 2009, followed by Rang Badalti Odhani and Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai. All these shows were aired on Star network.

The actor gained recognition through his third series, Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai playing the role of Viren Singh Vadhera, and the show was aired on Star Plus during 2011-2013. He has appeared in only less number of TV shows as an actor, but he earned fame as a successful TV host, who frequently got associated with reality shows. Halla Bol, The Voice, Nach Baliye 8 and Mirchi Top 2017 are the TV shows which he hosted. He also hosted The Remix on Amazon Prime Video.
