Khurshed Lawyer Biography

Khurshed Lawyer is an Indian actor and model, best known for supporting and comic roles. He is quite familiar to Indian audience through TV ads, and is best known for his distinct looks with spectacles and mannerisms. He has also done a few supporting roles in Bollywood and Hindi TV soaps, and is best known for playing Ranbir Kapoor’s friend in Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani, released in 2009. He was also seen in Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. (2003), Pyare Mohan (2006) and a few more movies in brief roles. He played the role of quirky Swami in Munna Bhai M.B.B.S, co-staring Sanjay Dutt, and restaurateur Champak in Pyare Mohan. Currently he is concentrating on to small screen roles.

Khurshed Lawyer hails from Mumbai, Maharashtra. Currently he resides in Dadar TT. His real name is Jignesh Khurshed. He also writes in newspapers and expresses his concerns over different subjects. During an assembly poll, he exercised his right to register his disapproval of candidates by filling up the form issued for this purpose. He is also active in social media and expresses his opinions on different matter in mini-blog twitter.

Khurshed is best known for his role of Swami in Munna Bhai MBBS apart from quite a few other characters that he has played in various Hindi films. He has also done a few Marathi films. Dinkchak Enterprise was his first stint in Marathi film industry. As a television actor he is best known for his character roles in Mrs. Pammi Pyarelal (where he played a robber), Life OK's episodic Khauff, where he played an evil doctor etc. He was most recently seen in a negative role in Bollywood flick, Fuddu.
