Mithun Tejasvi Biography

Mithun Tejasvi is a south Indian film actor associated with Tamil and Kannada movies. He currently appears in Tamil TV serial - Apoorva Raagangal aired on SUN TV. Gummalam, Indrumudhal, Aaha Ethna Azagu and Wullam are some of his Tamil movies and 7’O clock (2006) was the Kannada movie which gave him good launch and recognition.

 

Mithun Tejhasvi was born on December 15th, 1979 in Mudigere of Chikamagalur district. His father K.C. Lakshman is a retired Bank Manager and coffee planter. His mother Shalini is a home maker. He married Rohini, a software engineer, on 26 March 2006. Mithun did his schooling at Aldur, on a hill top with a beautiful view. He had to travel almost 40 kms to reach school. Later he moved to The National College, Bangalore to complete education. In those days he came across a relative Mr. Ramesh Rao, a screenplay writer and frequently used to visit film sets and met many people. He was only 16, when he was offered a role by noted camera man Sundernath Suvarna for the movie “Marikannu Horimyaage.” Mithun played the younger brother of the heroine. It gave him a good experience and very soon he got his second offer by his relative Ramesh Rao. He played Ramesh Aravind’s brother for “Aryabhata”.

 

After his second movie, he decided to join film industry. After school, when his parents asked him to choose between movies and studies, he opted for movies. He joined Film and Television institute of Tamil Nadu (FTIT) at Chennai to learn about acting. He also made lot of film contacts in Chennai during this time. Kannada movie “Haalu Sakkare” was his big break. During its shooting in Bangalore, he met Rohini whom he married in 2006.
