Niki Aneja Walia, shortly known as Niki Walia is a successful and beautiful television actress. She is a former model also. She has been one of the leading ladies of television since 1990’s and her looks have gained her the title, 'Madhuri Dixit of small screen'. In 1991, she became Miss World University Runner Up. She has been one among the judges of Miss India Contest 1994, where Sushmita Sen and Aishwarya Rai received top two Indian titles. Her television commercials during 1990’s - Sunsilk Shampoo, Gold Flake Tobacco and BPL Sanyo TV made her a popular modelling face. She has also appeared in a few music videos during this time. Niki Walia is one of the reputed names of modelling as well as television industry. She is one among the most sought actresses of small screen also.

Niki was born on 26 September 1972 in Mumbai. She earned name in the fashion industry as a successful model, compere, host, actress and VJ. She has completed two decades in the industry. She is best known for her role of Dr. Simran in TV series Astitva on Zee TV. In 1991 after chosen as the runner-up of Miss World University, she became World Ambassador for Peace 1991-1992. In 1994, she debut silver screen with Mr. Azad, opposite Anil Kapoor. But the movie failed at box office. In 2005, she played lead role in Bollywood movie, Chocolate. That movie too failed in box office. The truth is that, she never tried her luck in film industry.

As a television actress, she appeared in Saher, Sea Hawks, Samander, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Gharwali uparwali, Astitva-Ek Prem Kahani, Ghar Ek Sapna, Baat ban gayi and Daastan. In 2012, she acted in Cloud 9, UK's first British Asian Soap. She also hosted the program, Zee and U for ZEE TV, UK. Now she resides in UK with her family.
