Nikunj Malik Biography

Nikunj Malik is a noted television personality who is to debut Bollywood with political satire, Revolver Rani. She gained popularity through the reality show, Rahul Dulhaniya Le jayenge, where she appeared as a bride and became one among the three finalists. She participated in the show at the age of 25 and became a finalist from the group of 16 girls. Later she appeared in television serials like Geet hui sabse paraye, Ek hasarom mein meri bahana hai and 24. Malik is a graduate of National Institute of Fashion technology, Delhi. She has been in news following the torture and physical abuse by her maternal uncle, following her entry to Bollywood.

Nikunj was born in Gurgaon, Delhi. Her father is an engineer while her mother is a Sanskrit expert with a Master’s degree. But she is a homemaker. Nikunj was born as their first child. She was very shy and reserved during her childhood days. But she loved painting and sketching portraits. She was good in studies and extra-curricular activities. Reading and cooking are her other hobbies and she is an excellent cook too. She wanted to become a doctor and also cleared medical school through CPMT. But later she joined NIFT Chennai where she completed diploma in footwear and bag designing. Later she completed post-graduation in Fashion business management from NIFT, Delhi.

Though she gained popularity and fame through the reality show, Rahul Dulhaniya le jayenge, she is still busy with her fashion career and wants to start a fashion house. She is a supporter of woman rights too. As a television actress, her role as Maya in ‘Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai’ is her most noticed work.
