Paris Laxmi Biography
Paris Laxmi is a trained Bharatnatyam dance and film actress from Paris, who shot to fame after playing Nivin’s Pauley’s bride in Malayalam blockbuster – Bangalore Days. She also reprised the same role in its Tamil version - Bangalore Naatkal, playing Bobby Simha’s bride. Her character name is Michelle. She primarily works in Malayalam films and she made her film debut through Mammootty starrer Big B in 2007. In 2015 she played a notable role of Angela, Biju Menon’s sister-in-law for the comedy flick - Salt Mango Tree. Though her role as a western girl who marries an Indian guy was short, it was sweet.
She was born in Paris in 1991. Her full name is Myriam Sophia Lakshmi Quinio. Yves Quinio and Patricia Quinio are her parents. Her father is a Drama artist and poet, while her mother is a sculptor. She has one brother Theo-Q Narayan, a drummer. She is trained in ballet and contemporary dance since her younger days. Her parents loved Indian art and culture and for the same reason they named their daughter, Lakshmi and son, Narayan. She too got drawn towards Indian culture and heritage, hearing about it from her parents. The family visited India when Lakshmi was five years old. Influenced by Indian art forms she expressed her desire to learn Bharatnatyam.
At the age of 9 she started formal training in Bharatnatyam from Armelle Choquard, Dominique Delorme, Dr. Sucheta Chapekar and the famous Padma Subrahmanyam. She married the famous Kathakali artist Pallipuram Sunil in 2012 as per Hindu traditions married the famous Kathakali artist Pallipuram Sunil and is currently settled in Kottayam. The couple currently runs an arts school "Kalashakthi school of arts” in Vaikkom.
