Ravi Dubey Biography

Ravi Dubey is a popular television actor of Hindi soap operas. He is married to Sargun Mehta, the co-star from the serial 12/24 Karol Bagh. She is also a popular television actress. Ravi started his television career through Doordarshan serial, Stree teri kahani. Later he appeared in several television serials like Doli Saja Ke on Sahara One, lead role in Saas bina sasural and as Ranbir for Ranbir Rano and 12/24 Karol Bagh. Dubey made his Bollywood debut in 2011 with hindi film U R My Jaan. He has also participated in celebrity dancing reality shows - Nach Baliye 5 and Nach Baliye Shriman v/s Shrimati. He along with Sargun contested in the dance reality show Nach Baliye 5 and in one of its episodes on 5 February 2013, Ravi proposed her. They got married on 7 December 2013.

 
He was born in Gurgaon and mainly follows Buddhism. He entered television through Doordarshan serial Stree teri kahani. Then he was seen in supporting role in Yahaan Ke Hum Sikandar as Ravi on Zee next and Doli Saja Ke as Veer on Sahara television. His first lead role was Ranbir Rano, telecasted on Zee Television network during 2008-09. Then he played supporting role in 12/24 Karol Bagh, where he was paired opposite his future wife, Sargun Mehta for the first time. It marked the television debut of Sargun. He played the lead role of Tej Prakash Chaturved in Saas bina sasural (2010-2012), one of the popular television series on Sony Television.

 
Ravi met Sargun on set the sets of 12/24 Karol Bagh for the first time and he played opposite her. It was their first show together and gradually their friendship developed into love. Yet they never tried to hide it from media, friends or family. In any phase of their life, they never thought to date each other. Instead they decided to be together forever. They were committed and decided to participate in Nach baliye as Jodi. On 5 February 2013, Ravi proposed her. They got married on 7 December 2013.
