Roshni Chopra Biography

Roshni Chopra is a successful television actress of Indian soap operas. She is also a television presenter and the winner of NDTV Imagine's reality show, Dil Jeetegi Desi Girl. Her popular serial is Kasamh se, aired on ZEE TV where she played the role of Pia, the younger sister of protagonist Bani Walia. She has also presented Fourth Umpire program of Doordarshan several times. She co-hosted the program, India's Got Talent in 2009. Her younger sister Deeya Chopra is also an actress.  

Roshni Chopra was born on November 2, 1980 in New Delhi as the daughter of Ravi Chopra and Manju Chopra. She started her career through modelling assignments and later entered television. Kasamh se of ZEE Tv made her a household name. She has appeared in numerous television serials and shows (as host) till then. A few of her television appearances include - Chak De Bachche of 9X, Pyaar Mein Twist, Kavyanjali and Comedy Ka Maha Muqabala of Star Plus, Comedy Circus, Aahat and Comedy Circus Ka Naya Daur of Sony Entertainment Television, Dil Jeetegi Desi Girl in Imagine TV and Comedy Nights with Kapil and India's Got Talent in Colors. At present she appears in comedy entertainment show of Colors – Comedy nights with Kapil. Roshni played the role of Pia, the middle child, ambitious and glamorous in her most popular television soap opera – Kasamh se.

Roshni has done bit roles in a couple of Bollywood movies, Let's Enjoy in 2004 and Bhram: An Illusion in 2008. She played supporting role in Vikram Bhatt’s thriller, Phirr in the year 2011, where she worked aside Rajneesh Duggal and Adah Sharma. She played the role of Sia, wife of male protagonist Rajneesh Duggal in this movie. She is married to Siddharth Anand Kumar and has one kid, Jaiveer born on November 5, 2012.
