Sachin Joab Biography
Sachin Joab is an Australian actor of Indian origin, best known for portraying Ajay Kapoor in the soap opera Neighbours. City Homicide, Rush, My Year without Sex, and 10 Terrorists are his other popular film and television appearances. He left the popular series Neighbours in May 2013 after the expiry of contract. Conspiracy 365 in 2012 and Better Man in 2013 are his latest appearances. He is active in the field since 2002 and is a graduate from National theatre, Australia.
Sachin’s parents migrated to Australia in 1977 and Joab was born one year later in 1978. He was born in Melbourne, Victoria. His parents separated when he was only 5 years old. Since childhood Sachin was interested in acting. Though his parents want him to do something credible like a doctor or engineer, Sachin wanted to do something he is really passionate about. That’s why he chose acting as his career. However he finished his school studies, only to cheer up his mother. Then he started participating in acting workshops and took acting seriously.
He studied at Actors Studio, New York and returned back to Australia to join National Theatre where he completed graduation. Then he started working in movies and theatre. He appeared as Raj with Indian accent in the City Homicide episode "Examination Day” in 2008. It was followed by television series Rush and movie, My year without sex. He played the role of Bruno in Conspiracy 365. Better Man, 10 terrorists and Fat Tony & Co are other noted television appearances. The Legend Maker is his latest appearance in a movie.
