Samir Soni Biography 
Samir Soni is an Indian film and television actor and a model. He started acting in television programs through the series Samandar in 1995. He acted in many television series and then in 1998 started acting in films. He earned many awards and honors for his performance.
Samir Soni was born on 29th September 1968 in Meerut in India in a Punjabi Hindu family. He completed his schooling at St. Xavier’s School at Delhi and got his graduation in Economics from the University of California at Los Angeles. He married Rajlakshmi Khanvilkar and after six months of their married life they were divorced. On 24th January 2011 he married the former actress Neelam Kothari.
He started his career as an investment banker in a firm on Wall Street in New York. Then he undertook acting course in New York and Los Angeles. He entered the film industry through the Hindi series Samandar in 1995. He appeared in the program A Mouthful Of Sky in Doordarshan.
He appeared in the negative role Yash Thakur in the television program Kumkum. He took part in the television show Bigg Boss Season 4 in 2010. He acted in lead role for the first time in 2011 in the television series Parichay aired on Colors TV. He acted alongside Keerti Nagpure in the role of a lawyer nemd Kunar Chopra. This series won him numerous awards.
He made his film debut in 1998 through the film China Gate with Mamta Kulkarni. His performance in the film Baghban with Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini in 2003 made him popular.
Some of the films and television programs that he has acted include Samundar, A Mouthful of Sky, China Gate, Lajja, Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin, Basti, Baghban, Saaksshi, Vivah, Dil Kya Chahta Hai, Kahan Ho Tum, I Hate Luv Storys, Parichay, etc.
