Tirth Sharma Biography

Tirth Sharma is a young Bollywood actor who shot to fame playing Zaira Wasim’s classmate and friend in 2017 musical drama film, Secret Superstar, the highest Bollywood grosser of the year. He always wanted to be an actor and developed an interest in acting at a very young age. He was first seen in Bollywood film, “Dishoom”, which features him playing the role of Viraj Sharma’s fan. It was only a bit role, and the movie was a hit. Secret Superstar is his second film where he played lead actress’ boyfriend, and his role as teenager Chintan Parekh shot him to instant fame. He earned praise and accolades for this teenager role in the film.

After appearing in a small role in Dishoom, young Tirth always wanted to earn it big in Bollywood. He always wanted to become an actor. But he never assumed his dream would come true and that he would get such a memorable role in Secret Superstar. He auditioned for this role first time in Ambala and later got selected. He got a call from the casting director Abhishek saying that he has been selected for the role, and Tirth became extremely happy. Through the movie, he got experience to work with actors like Aamir Khan, Zaira and Meher Vij.

Throughout the film, in a single frame only he shared screen space with Aamir Khan, that too in the climax scene. The major scenes of Tirth were aside Zara, who played the female lead in the movie. As he was not so familiar with shooting, his co-star Zara gave him enough advices and the director too was supportive. The romantic song of the movie towards the end - ‘I’ll miss you’ was featured on him and Zara.
