Toral Rasputra Biography
Toral Rasputra is a successful television actress. She is popular for her roles as Anandi in Balika Vadhu and Priyanka Sethi in Disney Channel India's show, Dhoom Machaao Dhoom. In 2011, she won Zee Rishtey Awards, for Favourite Rishta along with Leena Jumani for Chhoti Si Zindagi. Other popular television shows of this successful actress include - Kesariya Balam Aavo Hamare Des of Sahara one and Yahan Ke Hum Sikandar of Zee Next. She has been a popular model also who has appeared in many television ads.
Toral was born in Anjar, Kutch on 26 December 1987. But both her childhood days and youth days were spent at Mumbai. She did her schooling at Jai Hind College, Mumbai. She took degree in English from the St. Xavier's College. Toral started her career as a model doing television ads for Amul and Shoppers' Stop. It gave her break to Indian television. Her first television appearance was for moderately successful show, Rishton Ki Dor where she played the role of Shaina. But it was Disney Channel India's super hit show, Dhoom Machaao Dhoom which gave her big break to Indian television.
Soon after the success of Dhoom machalo dhoom in 2007-2008, she got the main role in television serial, Yahan Ke Hum Sikandar. This serial was telecasted on Zee Next. Her role as a mature and patient college student Raima was well received and the serial was moderately successful too. Very soon she got the role of Rasal in Kesariya Balam Aavo Hamare Des on Sahara One. When she got the adult role in Zee TV's Chhoti Si Zindagi, she quit Kesariya Balam Aavo Hamare Des. Similarly, she replaced Pratyusha Banerjee as Anandi in Balika Vadhu as adult role.
