Vinay Rohrra Biography

Vinay Rohrra is a budding young actor of Indian television best known for playing the lead role of Ranbir in TV show Ranbir Rano on Zee TV. The series also marked his television debut in 2008. Later his role was replaced. Bajirao in Laagi Tujhse Lagan, Vinod in Shubh Vivah, Raj in Dil Se Di Dua... Saubhagyavati Bhava? and Ankur in Yeh Hai Aashiqui were the roles he played later. Currently he portrays the role of Sharad Ghotala in Badi Door Se Aaye Hain since 2014. Vinay is known for his dimpled face and charm.

He was born on 15 March 1988. He married his longtime girlfriend Pooja Dhanwani in 2012. He met Pooja at his tuition classes and it was love at first sight. Vinay admits that he has done a lot of stupid things to get her attention. Later during his struggling days in the industry, she stood with him and supported a lot. They share a unique friendship relationship, even breakup once for a few months to later admit that they can’t stay away too long.

The actor follows a strict diet and works on his stamina as well. He loves a mixture of kick boxing with weights also running and often adds swimming to his regime. The actor also follows a well-balanced diet and feels that his biggest strength is his stamina. The actor once claimed about receiving an indecent proposal when he attended audition for a show. Since then he has become extra careful about meeting people and goes to auditions during day time only. The actor believes that his dimples will eventually change his fortune.

The actor got a major break to his television career when he was casted in the lead role for his debut show, Ranbir Rano on Zee TV. But when TRP ratings went down, he was replaced by actor Ravi Dubey of Yaahan ke hum Sikander fame. But the actor has denied the rumours stating that he quit the show due to family issues, as he wanted a few days leave. As he was playing the lead role, it was not easy for its producers to continue the show without him.
