Vj Madhu Biography

VJ Madhu is a star anchor of television whose real name is Madhulatha Reddy. She has also appeared in a few short films. She is currently associated with Gemini Music as star VJ. Though her dream was to pursue a career in music, later she landed in the entertainment industry as a popular video jockey. This popular VJ reminds her admirers of Samantha and often she receives comments that she is the sister of Samantha. She also feels good hearing so.

Her real dream was to become a singer or filmmaker. She also took interest in film making. She learnt carnatic music for several years and even took part in shows like Padalani Undhi. She also worked as assistant to Puri Jagannadh and writer Kona Venkat for a couple of films. But her life took a U-turn when she decided to give auditions for a music channel. Best things of life always happen unexpected and that’s what happened in Madhu’s life too. She turned a VJ and now one of the most popular anchors of south Indian music entertainment industry. Though she dreamt to become a film maker, she got opinions from others that she could become a good actress and that acting suits her most. She also acted in few short films like Thokkalo Love Story and Oppandham and they were popular too.

It was through her friend she came to know about auditions of Gemini TV. She attended the auditions nervously and got selected. Though she didn’t receive initial support from her parents, finally they gave yes nod after hearing good response from others about Madhu. She has started training in theatre and singing and also looks forward to work in film industry as a playback singer.
