Anil Rastogi Biography 
Anil Rastogi is an Indian actor associated with theatre, television and films. He predominantly works in Hindi cinema and television and is a very popular character artist of present times. His roles in television shows, Udaan and Na Bole Tum Naa Maine Kuch Kaha were well appreciated. Anil Rastogi is a stage actor with strong theatre background, and has appeared in more than 600 stage shows up-to-date. He was a former scientist of the Central Drug Research Institute (CDRI), Lucknow. As a character artist of Hindi cinema, he played memorable roles in 'Ishaqzaade' and 'Monica'. He was most recently seen in 2018 release, Gaalib. Earlier he appeared in Main, Meri Patni Aur Woh.
Anil Rastogi hails from Lucknow, UP. His school and college education were completed in his hometown itself. Anil was associated with theatre long before he joined film and television industry. Anil Rastogi is a man of many talents. A scientist by profession, Rastogi played numerous memorable roles on stage, big screen and mini screen. This veteran is currently fully engaged in television scene. He is associated with television since the days of Doordarshan serials, and was seen in Udaan of early 1990s. In those days Doordarshan was the only source of entertainment for Indian home audience.
Anil started doing theatre after finishing MSC and taking up research, and the actor too personally believes that one should complete his education first before beginning his life with theatre. The actor believes that science taught him discipline, which came in handy while doing theatre. Similarly, theatre taught him how to express himself in a professional way. His role as Daddu in Bollywood hit 'Ishaqzaade' is memorable.
