The city of Gandhinagar is also the capital of the Indian state of Gujarat. It is one of the most flourishing and industrially advanced cities of India and even forms an economic corridor for the rest of the country. Take a trip to Sarita Udyan by the banks of the Sabarmati River. This is a beautiful garden that is also adjacent to a botanical garden. You can also visit Children’s Park in Sector 28. This incredible facility has a toy train and boating services that can make for great fun and amusement. It makes for a picturesque picnic spot as well. If you love nature make sure you make a plan to see the Deer Park of Gandhinagar. This vast natural reserve is a unique theme park even while it houses different species of animal life in their natural habitat. You will see various types of deers and birds here and don’t miss out on the python that’s kept here as well.
One of the most interesting aspects of Gandhinagar would be its indigenous art and craft. And if you wish to see that you can visit the craftsmen’s village at Pethapur. This is a place that’s an embodiment of the art and craft people here are engaged in. there is a wide range of ethnic handicrafts and textile weaves or even embroidery that’s made here for you to see and even buy them if you like. Look out for the hues of bandhni designs and the various types of block prints that are extremely well known from this place.
