Adil Khan Biography 
Adil Khan is an Indian professional footballer of Indian Super League, and also plays for India national team. He played three matches for team India since 2012. He currently plays for Pune City as a Defensive midfielder. Since 2008 he has played for some of the leading sports clubs of the country such as Sporting Goa, Mohun Bagan, Delhi Dynamos, Bharat FC, Lonestar Kashmir, Churchill Brothers and currently with Pune City.
His full name is Adil Ahmed Khan. He was born on 7 July 1988 in Goa. Initially his father didn’t want him to play football. His best friend Jack Durado was very close to his father. He kept trying to convince his father and eventually succeeded. He studied from Sesa Football Academy. Khan started his football career in SESA in 2003, and was associated with the sports club for next 5 years. As a footballer he experimented with various positions, primarily in full back and centre midfield. He played in I-League 2nd Division and I-League, and scored a total of 12 goals combining both.
He signed Mohun Bagan on a one-year deal for the 2013-14 I-League season, and played his first match against Bengaluru FC at the Bangalore Football Stadium, and the match resulted in a 1-1 draw. He played as a squad player for 6 more matches. He joined Delhi Dynamos in the 2014 Indian Super League where he played as a right back and appeared in 7 matches. It was his debut season for the elite ISL. In 2014-15 I-League season, he was a member of Bharat FC. The club was disbanded and during the off-season he went for a surgery.
Khan signed with I-League 2nd Division side Lonestar Kashmir on a 3-month deal to play in the 2015-16 I-League 2nd Division season. After finishing the season with Lonestar Kashmir, he signed for Dempo, and later he was a member of Churchill Brothers for the 2016-17 I-League season.
