Godwin Franco Biography 
Godwin Franco is an Indian professional footballer of India national team, and also plays for Indian Super League - professional football league in India. He played for the Kerala Blasters in ISL in its first season during 2014-2015. Currently he is associated with Club Deportivo Guadalupe since 2018 and has played 9 matches till now. He has scored two goals too. He has earlier played for Churchill Brothers S.C., Fransa-Pax FC, Sporting Clube de Goa, Dempo S.C., Royal Wahingdoh F.C. etc. He won Gold medal at 2015 ISL and silver medal at 2014 ISL. He is a winner of 14 trophies with various clubs in 13 seasons of professional football, thus one of the most successful Indian footballers at present.
Godwin Diogo Franco hails from Goa. He belongs to Socorro of North Goa and was born in the year 1985. He graduated from Sesa Football Academy, and also studied at Assagao Anjuna Football Academy before. He started his professional career in 2003 with Churchill Brothers. He played two seasons for the team, and was a team member for winning Goa Governors Cup. He has also played with Churchill Brothers for National Football League and Indian Federation Cup also.
Till now he has been a member of different teams which won 9 trophies including the I-League and the Indian Super Cup 1997–2011. In 2012 Indian Federation Cup, he played finals. He was a member of Kerala Blasters with the first season of Indian Super League in 2014. His team played the finals and lost to Kolkata. He was a member of Chennai team at Indian Super League 2015 when it played finals in his home town Goa, and his team lifted the cup in finals.
