Kamran Khan Biography
Kamran Khan is an Indian cricketer associated with IPL teams of Twenty20 matches. Former player of Pune Warriors India in 2011 and Rajasthan Royals for 2009 and 2010, he is a left-arm fast-medium bowler. He belongs to Mau of Uttar Pradesh. He made his T20 debut before having played a first-class match, and he made his first-class debut for Colts Cricket Club in March 2013. He has played two first class matches and 11 T20 matches. He has taken 5 wickets in First class matches and 12 from T20. Kamran was hailed as the "next big thing" by Shane Warne when he was picked for the first time in 2009.
Kamran Ahmad Khan was born on 10 March 1991 in Ghosi of Mau district, Uttar Pradesh. He was born into a lower middleclass family as a son of a woodcutter. Khan has struggled with poverty during his childhood days. He worked in farms before got busy in cricket. While he went for trials for cricket matches at Lucknow or Kanpur, he used to sleep at platforms buying a platform ticket. Always struggled with financial problems he couldn’t gain enough courage to ask money to his family members. He owned only a single pair of white dress, which he used for every trail.
During the second season of IPL, he was picked up by Rajasthan Royals. He was an unknown player till then. He was able to impress the coach Darren Berry and captain Shane Warne, who commented that he is a tiny guy who can bowl at 140 km/h plus. Thus Kamran made a name for himself as the Rajasthan Royals' mystery pick in 2009. He played two seasons with Rajasthan. He later joined Pune Warriors India in 2011, though he managed to get only one match. Later he returned to farming. In 2013, he made his First Class debut.
