The summers are hot and humid with dusty squalls and thunderstorms sometimes with heavy rains too. The maximum recorded temperature is 40 degree Celsius. It lasts from February to May and is marked by dusty violent winds. The strong wind is called Kal Baishakhit by native people. The southwesterly monsoon wind flowing through the place lessens the heat of the summer season. May and June are the hottest months.
