Krsna Solo Biography 
Krsna Solo is a young and talented music director of Bollywood who made an impressive debut with – Tanu Weds Manu, and also composed music for its sequel, Tanu weds Manu Returns. Both the movies were directed by Anand L. Rai and commercially successful ventures. Music of both the movies was highly successful. He won Stardust Awards for Best New Music Director for Tanu Weds Manu in 2011. The movie also bagged him Filmfare RD Burman Award for New Music Talent. Issaq, Oonga, India's Daughter, Tamanchey and Jolly LLB are his other works in Bollywood.
Tanu Weds Manu, and its sequel, Tanu weds Manu Returns earned him instant fame. Lyrics of both these movies were penned by a budding lyricist and writer, Rajshekhar. All the songs of Tanu Weds Manu - "Sadi Gali", "Yun Hi", “Piya”, "Rangrez", "Mannu Bhaiya" and “Jugni” were instant hits. In the sequel released in 2016, he composed music for all the songs except the song "Banno". The movie included hit tracks like – “Mari Gali", "O Sathi Mere", "Old School Girl", "Ghani Bawri" and "Ho Gaya Hai Pyar".
He was born in Siliguri, West Bengal. His schooling was done at Kolkata and later he graduated from National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad in Films Communication. Since young he dreamt to become a music director and soon after studies he moved to Mumbai to pursue his dreams. He started with jingles. In 2011, he received his first offer to Bollywood - Tanu Weds Manu which was a major hit. Yun Hi and Piya Na Rahe Man Basiya were instant chartbusters. Legendary Wadali Brothers sang his composition - "Rangrez". He also marked his debut as a playback singer through another version of same song.
