Vaishnav Girish is a young sensation of Indian music reality shows at present. After participating in several reality shows, he shot to fame with Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champ 2017. Since the audition round, his videos have gone viral over net, and he has a huge fan following crowd across India. His youtube videos have already received lakhs of views, and he has around 1 million fans following in his facebook fan page. The teenager won millions of hearts through this expressive and soulful voice.
Vaishnav Girish hails from Kodungallur of Thrissur district, Kerala. He is 14 years old and currently studying in 10th standard. Before he became a sensation through Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champ 2017, he has successfully completed a couple of reality shows earlier. Associated with regional television channels first, around 4 years ago, he was the title winner of Surya Singer Season 2. He also stood as the third runner up of the second season of Indian Idol Junior in 2015.
In the audition round of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champ 2017, he sang Bin Tere of I hate Love Stories. He became a sensation overnight, and all the judges were surprised seeing the talent of young Vaishnav. The audition video also went viral over net. Till now, his videos have been watched by more than 1.5 crore viewers. He mostly wears a traditional Kerala dhoti for the shows, and in the episode where Shah Rukh Khan promoted his recent release, ‘Jab Harry Meets Sejal’, with easiness Girish lifted the star and carried him in his arms for a few minutes.
As per latest buzz, A. R. Rahman has invited him to perform in his 25th year celebration concert, and Girish dreamsto do playback singing for the legendary music composer someday. He also dreams to sing in Malayalam cinema.
