Aamir Tameem Biography
Aamir Tameem is an upcoming Telugu film actor who is best known for his role in his debut film - Chandra Sekhar Yeleti's Prayanam, where he portrayed the role of Raman. Prakash raj’s production venture Katha and Ram Gopal Varma’s Katha Screenplay Darsakatvam Appalaraju are his other releases. He is a stage actor too, who has been associated with Magic If Creations of Ratna Shekar Reddy during the period 2004 to 2007. He directed two videos while doing his master’s in Symbiosis Institute of Media & Communication, Pune.
Aamir Tameem was born in Hyderabad, Telangana on 22 November 1988. He was associated with drama since his teens and has worked as a stage actor with Ratna Shekar Reddy’s theater troupe - Magic If Creations during his graduation period of three years. He completed graduation in commerce from Bhavans Vivekananda College in 2007. Quite active in the college events, he has also acted as Event Organizer with The Times of India's Youth Fest "Youthopia 07" during his final year at college. Same year he was selected as the Google Campus Ambassador, and the following year as well, the only Indian to achieve this position consecutively for two years.
His association with Ratna Shekar Reddy’s theater troupe bagged him the first film role as well. He received the supporting role of Prayanam, while doing his graduation. He did more than 100 dress rehearsals and also grew a beard for about one year for the role of Raman in Prayanam. The movie received positive response from critics. While he accepted his second film Katha, he had to reject many good films due to date issues. After RGV’s Katha Screenplay Darshakatvam Appalaraju in 2010, he took a break from the industry to join Symbiosis Institute of Media & Communication, Pune, where he specialized in Film & television content generation.
