Aksha Pardasany Biography
Aksha Pardasany is an Indian actress who concentrates most on Telugu film industry. Kandireega – released in 2011 was her most memorable performance. This Telugu film gave her a nomination at Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress. After appearing in 2004 Bollywood movie Musaffir as a child artist, she was launched as a teenager lead heroine in the Malayalam movie ‘Goal’ based on football by veteran director Kamal. The movie was released in 2007. However this experimental youth oriented movie was a failure at box office. The following year she moved to Telugu film industry and became quite successful.
She belongs to a Sindhi family, brought up in Mumbai. She completed intermediate from Bombay Scottish School. She started modelling at a young age of 10 years and has appeared in more than 75 television commercials till now. Pepsi ad with Ranbir was a popular ad. In fact, Ranbir Kapoor was 9-year senior to her at Scottish School. She also played the role of young Sameera Reddy in Bollywood flick -Musaffir. As an adult actress, her film debut was through Kamal’s Malayalam movie – Goal in 2007. She played lead role of a school student opposite another debutant Rejith Menon in this movie. She was spotted by Parasuram, Telugu director after seeing her Malayalam flick. She played lead role opposite Nikhil Siddharth in Yuvatha (2008) which was declared a super hit.
Later she played heroine role in Ride with Nani and Adi Nuvve with Naga Chaitanya and established herself as a successful actress of Tollywood. It was her father’s dream to see her as a successful actress. Rye Rye and Shatruvu are her latest Telugu releases.
