Allu Arjun Biography
Allu Arjun is an Indian film actor concentrating in the Telugu film industry. He has won many awards for his performance including two South Filmfare Awards. His family connection with film industry with many past and present actors is his plus point.
He was born on 8th April 1983 in Chennai in Tamil Nadu and is at present living in Hyderabad. His grandfather Allu Ramalingaiah Gaaru has been ruling over the Telugu film industry for about five decades. His mother’s name is Nirmala and his father’s name is Allu Aravind. His father is a famous film producer and distributor and is also involved in politics and his production house is named Geetha Arts. Allu Arvind has one elder brother Allu Venkatesh and one younger brother Allu Sirish.
He studied at Chennai Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan, A.M.M. Matriculation Higher Secondary School and St. Patrick’s College. He got his BBA degree from MSR College at Hyderabad. He married his long time sweetheart Sneha Reddy on 6th March 2011 at Hyderabad.
He was good at drawing and loved computer graphics and animation. He actually wanted to take up multimedia as his career. He did some cameo roles as a child artist. But he had no intention of becoming an actor. However, in 2000 when his family moved to Hyderabad from Chennai, he got another cameo role as a dancer in a film being a good dancer from his childhood days and this changed his career and decision completely.
The famous film stars Chiranjeevi, Nagababu and Pawan Kalyan are his uncles and the actor Ram Charan Teja is his cousin. Arjun started his film career as a child artist in the film Vijetha and his debut film in the adult role was Gangotri by K. Raghavendra Rao in the year 2003 which did well in box office. His first big success came from his second film Arya released in 2004. This gained him huge fan base.
His third film Bunny was released in 2005 and after this film he was nicknamed Bunny. His films Badrinath, Parugu and Julayi were the biggest grosser that gave him name and fame. He is also well known in Kerala as almost all his films except a very few were dubbed into Malayalam. He is the brand ambassador for 7Up and Colgate in Andhra Pradesh.
He is interested in social services and donates lots of money to orphanages. He has the habit of donating blood and participates in the blood donation camp at the Chiranjeevi Blood Bank on his birthdays and encourages his fans to donate too.
