Anson Paul Biography
Anson Paul is a south Indian film actor, best known for playing second lead and character roles in Malayalam and Tamil movies. He is best known for his performances in Malayalam films - Su.. Su... Sudhi Vathmeekam where he played the supporting role of Vijay Babu and Abrahaminte Santhathikal where he played Mammootty’s younger brother Philip Abraham, and also Tamil blockbuster Remo, where he portrayed the notable baddy role of Dr. Vishwa. Aadu 2, Solo, Oozham, Kala Viplavam Pranayam, 90 ml etc are other noted releases.
Anson Paul hails from Thrissur, Kerala. He just completed his acting studies from Anupam Kher Acting School in Mumbai before he joined film industry. He marked his acting debut with 2013 film KQ in a parallel lead role, when its original actor Arya opted out of the project because of his busy time schedule. He played one of the local boys of the Thattumpuram club. But the movie went unnoticed.
He got his first big break 2016 highly acclaimed Su.. Su... Sudhi Vathmeekam directed by Ranjith Sankar. He was seen in a matured role of Vijay Babu in the film which earned him accolades and more film offers. He had to put on weight to get the proper look in late 30s. His character owns the school where Sudhi (Jayasurya’s character) is working, and he had many combination scenes with the acclaimed actor. He turned a busy actor very soon.
Soon after Su.. Su... Sudhi Vathmeekam he acted in a bilingual song directed by his friend and actor-director Rajith Menon. The song was titled ‘Anbendraale Amma’ and ‘With Love, Maa’, in Tamil and Hindi respectively, and released on Children’s day.
