Diksha Panth Biography

Diksha Panth is a film actress associated with Telugu cinema. She was also a contestant of Bigg Boss Telugu, regional version of Hindi show, Bigg Boss. She was a wide card entry in week 3 and got evicted on 63th day. After playing brief roles in Telugu cinema since 2010, she got her first break in the Telugu movie Gopala Gopala, and later she appeared in the films, Harmones, Oka Laila Kosam, Banthi Poola Janaki and many more films. Her name is also pronounced as Deeksha Pant. She is a successful model too.

Diksha Panth was born on December 21, 1987 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The family later shifted to Hyderabad, present day Telangana where she pursued her career in film industry. She was born into a middle class family. She completed college days in Mumbai, and in those days she took modelling seriously. With some link in modeling industry, she finally grabbed an opportunity to feature in a Telugu movie down south. She was first seen in Varudu released in 2010 in a brief role, and later appeared in less-significant roles like Racha, Gullu Dada Thiree, Oka Laila Kosam, Noothi Lo Kappalu and Sankarabharanam.

She played Basanthi, Papa Rao’s girlfriend in her next film Racha. After struggling for 4-5 years, she got her first major break through Gopala Gopala in the year 2015. She played the supporting role of Gopika Matha in the film. After that she started getting meaty roles from Telugu film industry. After playing supporting roles in Oka Laila Kosam and Noothi Lo Kappalu in 2014, she bagged her first lead role through Harmone. Maya Mall, Thondi, Aayaam, EGO etc are some of her upcoming films.
