Dimple Chopade Biography

Dimple Chopade is a south Indian film actress of Maharastrian origin. She has a strong theatre background also and has learnt Sanskrit as well. She acts in all south Indian languages except Malayalam and Pune is her home town. She is also known by the name, Dimple Chopra. She is an exponent of Mallakhamb, traditional Indian sport of Maharashtra performed by gymnastics and she also knows horse riding. 2011 Kannada movie, Kote marked her acting debut and now she is busy in south Indian film industry. She played parallel lead aside Prajwal Devaraj and Gayatri Rao, in her debut movie which was a love triangle.

She was born in Pune, Maharashtra. She studied at Symbiosis International University, Pune. This Pune-based actress did a short term acting course in film making from prestigious FTII and laos has been associated this theater before making her film debut in 2011. After her debut Kanada movie Kote in 2011, it took two years for her next movie. In 2013, she made Tamil screen debut through Yaaruda Mahesh in which she played lead role opposite Sundeep Kishan. The movie was an average grosser. Same year she marked her Telugu debut too. The movie was Romance in which she played main lead opposite Prince. This Adult Telugu comedy received ‘A’ certificate upon release and was declared a box office failure.

After that she did two Kannada movies – Shatru and Sihi Muthu and 2013 Telugu release, Biskett in which she played title role opposite Arvind Krishna. Actually Sihi Muthu was the first movie for which she signed and the delayed project has not released yet. Apart from theatric and film experiences, she is a model too.
