Farjana Biography
Farjana is a south Indian film actress from Mumbai who predominantly works in Telugu cinema. She is also a choreographer and model, and her full name is Farzana Barucha. She is associated with film industry since 2006 and her debut flick was Bhagyalakshmi Bumper Draw where she played the lead role. Later she appeared in Telugu movies - Seema Sastri, Bommana Brothers Chandana Sisters, Gajibiji, Mallepuvvu, Kuberulu, and one Tamil film, 1977. She was active in the film scene during 2006-2009, and then retired from acting.
Farzana Barucha was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra. She started her career as a professional dancer and choreographer, and was quite successful in this field. In the second half of 2000s she moved to acting, playing a few lead roles in south Indian films, but couldn’t get success. After staying in south Indian cinema for four years, she said good bye. As an actress Tamil film, 1977 was her last release, released in the year 2009. She has also made special appearance in item songs for Telugu.
During her early days in entertainment industry, she did choreography for many fashion shows and albums at a very young age. She had a successful career with Adnan Sami as a stage choreographer, when the singer was at his career peak in the mid-2000s. In 2006 she worked as the choreographer for one Bollywood film, Zinda. The movie starred some of the big stars like Sanjay Dutt, John Abraham, Lara Dutta and Celina Jaitly. She choreographed the title track of the movie, Zinda Hoon Mein which was a chartbuster. This promotional song was filmed on Lara Dutta and the singer Shibani Kashyap. She also worked as a model.
