Jai Akash Biography

Jai Akash is an Indian film actor and a director concentrating in Tamil film industry. He entered the film industry in the year 1999 starting his film career through the film Rojavaanam. He was born and brought up in London. He married Shakkela. He has two brothers and one sister and his desire to become an actor has brought him from United Kingdom to India.

Though he started with the film in Tamil, he shifted his attention towards Telugu films and his debut move in Telugu Anandam was a mega hit. It was directed by Sreenu Vaitla who directed his next film also named Anandam Anandamayae which too was a great success. These two films established his presence in the film industry as an actor.

Jai Akash has acted in more than two dozen films in various languages like Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. His first venture as a director was for the film Sweet Heart which was also successful. He is more interested in acting in Tamil films and he played lead role in the film Inidhu Inidhu Kaadhal Inidhu.

He had a problem with actress Sunaina and he submitted a complaint at the Nadigar Sangam against her saying that she is tarnishing his image. She reported against him that her image has been morphed and used in some hot scenes to tarnish her image and the clippings of the film that she has acted named Madan was used for that. However Jai Akash rejected that saying that he did not misuse anything and it was only Sunaina who dumped Madan when she got a chance to act in the film Kadhalil Vizhunthein.
