Jassi Gill Biography

Jassi Gill is a noted actor and singer associated with Punjabi entertainment industry. He made his debut in 2011 with the album Bachmate. The album featuring the song - "Chudiyan" was a major success and since then he became a successful Punjabi singer. The single "Vigre Sharabi” released in 2012 was also a major success. He made his acting debut on the big screen in Mr & Mrs 420 (Punjabi film), followed by Dil Vil Pyar Vyar (Punjabi film). He is currently associated with Punjabi film industry too. Channo Kamli Yaar Di is his recent release, where he shared screen space with Neeru Bajwa and Binnu Dhillon. Dildariyaan and Oh Yaara Ainvayi Ainvayi Lut Gaya are other releases.

He belongs to a Punjabi Sikh family, born on 25 July 1993 in Ranasar, Sardarsahar of Rajasthan. It’s quite incidental that Gill got attached to the world of music, as he was not inclined to music since childhood. His singing talent was noticed by his teacher while he was doing his graduation at Gobindgarh College. The teacher encouraged him a lot and prompted him to participate in college level competitions and Jassi won consecutively for years.

In 2011, he released his debut album – Classmate which was a major hit. It was followed by a single "Vigre Sharabi” in 2012 which made him popular among the youth. He released Bachmate 2 in 2013 which became a major success surpassing his first album. The song Lancer from the album was welcomed by youth. Since then in a short span of time he created a mark for himself as a successful Punjabi singer. Pyar Mera is also a popular single. In 2015 he played lead role in the Punjabi film - Oh Yaara Ainvayi Ainvayi Lut Gaya. He was paired with Bollywood actress Gauhar Khan of Rocket Singh: The Salesman of the year fame.
