Kamna Jethmalani Biography
Kamna Jethmalani is a model turned south Indian film actress who debuted in 2005 with the Telugu film Premikulu. Same year she debut Tamil with Idhaya Thirudan. Her first commercial hit was Telugu movie, Ranam. She was a runner-up at the Miss Mumbai contest in 2004. She has also appeared in a few music videos. Remixed version of 'Chod do Aanchal Zamaana Kya Kahega' (2004) by Bombay Vikings is one of her noted appearances. She appears in lead roles in south Indian movies right now.
Kamna was born in Mumbai on December 10, 1985 as the granddaughter of businessman late Syam Jethmalani. Her pet name is Dinky. Her father Nimesh Jethmalani is a businessman. Her mother’s name is Divya. From early age she started modelling and appeared in Miss Mumbai contest in 2004, where she was the second runner up. Same year she appeared in super hit remixed video, of 'Chod do Aanchal Zamaana Kya Kahega'. In 2005, she debut Telugu and Tamil film industry with the movies, Premikulu and Idhaya Thirudan respectively. Though her debut Telugu movie was a flop, her second movie, Ranam, released in 2006 was a commercial hit. Same year she did an item number in Telugu movie, Sainikudu.
Ugaadi in 2007 marked her Kannada debut. Machakaaran opposite Jeevan in 2007 was her second Tamil movie. This movie gave her big break to the industry and till then, she appears in all south Indian language movies. She also did item song, Nuvvu Ready for Telugu movie, King. She has done a special appearance in Malayalam movie of Jayaram, Makeup Man. Sri Jagadguru Aadi Sankara, Bendu Apparao R.M.P, Kathi Kantha Rao and Action 3D are a few of her Telugu movies. Her upcoming movies are Agraja and Bhai.
