Madhumalti Kapoor Biography
Madhumalti Kapoor is an accomplished theatre and film artist associated with Bollywood and Punjabi entertainment industry. As a Bollywood actress, she is best known for the supporting roles she played in super hit movies such as Gadar: Ek Prem Katha (2001), The Hero: Love Story of a Spy (2003) and the most recent - Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety (2018). Her pivot role as grandmother in the film was well appreciated, and attributed to the super success of the film as well, which was tagged as a comedy entertainer. She is the Ex-wife of Anupam Kher, and currently married to actor - director Ranjit Kapoor, brother of actor Annu Kapoor.
Madhumalti Kapoor is a very senior actress of Hindi and Punjabi movies, and currently most active with television shows. Tum Hi Ho Bandhu Sakha Tumhi, Satrangi Sasural, Intezaar Aur Sahi, Humsafars, Chhal - Sheh Aur Maat and Anamika are some of her noted television works in a supporting role. Madhumalti acted as the mother of Gurdass Mann in 2004 Punjabi movie Des Ho Ya Pardes. She also shared screen space with Juhi Chawla in the film. She plays the role of grandmother in Sony TV serial Humsafars. The role earned her a lot of fan followers, and also earned her many film roles. Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety is her most recent film release.
