Nagarjuna Biography 
Nagarjuna is an Indian film actor who concentrates in Telugu film industry. He has also produced many successful films in Telugu under the banner of his production company Annapurna Studios. He has acted in nearly 100 films and has won many awards and honors for her performance. He seres as the president of the film school Annapurna International School of Film and Media situated in Hyderabad.
Nagarjuna was born as Akkineni Nagarjuna Rao on 29th August 1959 in Chennai in Tamil Nadu. His father’s name is Nageswara Rao Akkineni and his mother’s name is Annapurna Akkineni. When he was a small child, his family moved to Hyderabad and so he completed his schooling at Hyderabad Public School and Little Flower Junior College. Then he got his Bachelor of Engineering degree from the College of Engineering at Guindy in Chennai. He also has completed his M.S. in Automobile Engineering from Eastern Michigan University.
He belongs to a family of filmy background and he married Lakshmi Ramanaidu in 1984 whose father is also a popular film producer. They have a son named Naga Chaitanya Akkineni who is also an actor. Due to some misunderstanding the couples were divorced in 1990. In 1992, he married the actress Amala and they have a son named Akhil Akkineni.
Nagarjuna entered the film industry as a child artist when he was just 8 years old in 1967 through the Telugu film Sudigundalu which was directed by Adurthi Subbarao. His debut movie in the adult role was Vikram in 1986. He worked with Maniratnam in the movie Geethanjali in 1989 and this was a huge success.
Some of the films he has acted include Govinda Govinda, Ninne Pelladatha, Vajram, Ratchagan, Annamayya, Ravoyi Chandamama, Azad, Santosham, Sri Ramadasu, Super, Mass, Don, Boss I Love You, Style, Krishnarjuna, King, Kedi, Thakita Thakita, Ragada, Payanam, Gaganam, Rajanna, Nuvva Vastavani, Criminal, Hello Brother, Drohi, etc.
He has produced the television serial Yuva in 2009. He is one among the shareholders of the Telugu television channel Maa TV. He co-founded with his wife Amala, the Blue Cross of Hyderabad. This is aimed towards the preservation of the rights of the animals. He also appeared in the HIV/AIDS software tutorial prepared by the nonprofit organization TeachAIDS in 2010
