Prayaga Biography

Prayaga Martin is a south Indian film actress and classical dancer. She is a model turned actress. Made her film debut as heroine with the highly acclaimed Tamil film – Pisaasu in 2014, she later bagged two projects, one each from Malayalam and Tamil films. Poda! Aandavanae En Pakkam is her upcoming Tamil flick, while she has signed a Malayalam project starring Fahadh Faasil.  The movie is titled – Cartoon. She is also a trained classical dancer and has appeared as cover girl for Malayalam magazines.

Her full name is Prayaga Rose Martin and she was born in Kochi in 1995. She has been at ease with the camera right from childhood since she started modelling at a younger age. She has appeared in bay commercials, apart from several print ads. As a natural progression, she has been inclined towards arts and has trained in classical dance. Prayaga made her film debut with Tamil flick - Pisaasu in 2014. The movie was directed by Mysskin, who is known for highly acclaimed films. She has made a promising debut with the film and got noticed as well. She played the role of the ghost in the film.

After her debut flick, with positive responses from all quarters, she received more offers from south Indian film industry. She is to debut Malayalam with the film, Cartoon opposite Fahadh Faasil, where she is to play a college girl. In this road movie-cum-thriller penned by Ratheesh Ravi, Fahadh is to play Sachidanandan, an animator by profession. The movie is directed by debutant Saheed Arafath and narrates the love story of two egoistically-complex persons who try to force their interests and views on each other. She is being paired with Vishnu for her next Tamil venture - 'Poda! Aandavane En Pakkam’.
