Prudhvi Raj (telugu Actor) Biography

Prudhvi Raj is a very popular and veteran Telugu actor associated with cine world. He is a character artist best known for comic roles. He was introduced by Prabhakar Reddy to film scene, and Prudhvi Raj has spent more than 3 decades in the industry doing more than a 100 character roles. Krishna Vamsi's movie, Khadgam is one of his major releases. His dialogue “30 Years Industry Ikkada” in Krishna Vamsi's film Khadgam changed the actor’s destiny forever. Aa Okkati Adakku was his debut film.

His full name is Balireddy Pruthviraj. He was born on August 6, 1964 in Tadepalligudem, West Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh. He was born into a reputed farmer’s family. He completed Master’s in economics from Andhra University. Since younger days he was interested in cultural activities, and he used to participate in stage plays as an actor. Since then he dreamt to become an actor of big screen, and in this mission his mother supported him a lot.

He was introduced to the big screen by famous Dr. Prabakar Reddy and E V V Satyanarayana in their first film Aa Okkati Adakku in the year 1992. Since then he has spent more than 35 years in the industry. During his debut film shooting, he spent 40 days with Rao Gopal Rao to learn acting. After the release of his first film, he moved to Chennai in search of opportunities. But once again he returned to Telugu film industry. The actor had to struggle to get meaty roles, and since the movie Khadgam got released, he became an immense popular comedian. He got more roles from the film industry.
