Rajeev Khandelwal Biography
Rajeev Khandelwal is a talented and successful television and film actor and anchor. He is known for choosing of the right scripts and powerful performance on screen. His debut Hindi movie, Aamir released in 2008 emerged as the dark horse of the year and became a super hit. It accumulated critics’ appreciation also. He was nominated for Filmfare and Sceen awards for Best Male Debut Award for the same role. He continued exhibiting his acting potential in his next movie, Shaitan where he played the role of Inspector Arvind Mathur. Soundtrack, Table No.21 and Will you marry me are the released Bollywood movies. Table No. 21 was a thriller and was received well at box office. He has also a few yet-to-release projects. He is better known for television viewers as the host of controversial program of Star Plus – Sach ka samna, where he hosted both its seasons. He has also hosted the game show – Deal Ya No Deal.
Rajeev Khandelwal was born on 16 October 1975 in Jaipur, Rajasthan. In 2011, he married his girl friend, Manjiri Kamtikar. Rajeev is an atheist. He entered acting career through television. Kya Hadsaa Kya Haqeeqat for Sony TV was one of his earliest appearances. He later appeared as ACP Prithviraj in C.I.D., Varun Awasthi, the RAW Intelligence Officer in Time Bomb 9/11, Sujal Garewal in Kahin To Hoga and Captain Rajveer Singh Shikhawat in Left Right Left.
Rajeev is a successful model also and has appeared in a few television ads like - LML, Green Label Whisky, Kodak Express and Videocon refrigerators. His television career has given him numerous nominations and awards of which a few need a special note. Sach ka samna presented him Best Anchor (Game/Quiz Show) award at Indian Television Academy Awards and favourite host at Star Parivar awards. He has also received best actor nominations for his memorable performances of Left Right Left and Kahi to hoga.
