Renuka Menon Biography

Renuka Menon is an Indian film actress who has appeared in the film of many languages like Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. She entered film industry in 2002 and is active for more than a decade.

Renuka Menon belongs to the Nair family of Trichur in Kerala. She was interested in acting from her childhood days. Her father is an advocate and her mother is a homemaker. Seeing her interest in acting, her mother used to send her photos to many magazines. Her photo was therefore printed on the cover of the magazine named Mahilarathnam and this made a film producer to approach her for acting. This film Mayomohitachandran marked her film debut but was not released. She married Suraj.

Her debut movie was Nammal in 2002 directed by Kamal in Malayalam language. This was a huge success and marked her subsequent entry into the Telugu film industry through her debut film Valliddaru Okkate. Following this she acted in some films of Kannada and Tamil languages also.

She adapts flexibly to any work environment and language has never stood before her progress that she was soon able to set her feet in the film industries of all major South Indian languages.
